Prayers To Encourage (lift your spirit)

Lord, sometimes I become fearful of the pitfalls and roadblocks I face in my life. But I know that each burden makes me stronger though many times I feel uncertain of the future.

Help me to remember that Your Son promised never to leave me to face my obstacles and miseries by myself. You are there, speaking to me through the Holy Spirit, and matching your mighty steps to mine.

Someday when this journey is over, I will rejoice in victory and in Your glorious heaven. Hebrews tells me in Chapter 13 Verse 6: “So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" So thank you, Lord, for your salvation and for giving me courage and strength. I will not be afraid. AMEN!

Lord, give me the courage to stand steady in the midst of adversity and changing morals in the world today. Let me not forget that Your commandments do not alter with time but remain as You have deemed them to be from the first day of creation.

Help me to remember the things You want me to do, not follow the trend of the masses, nor succumb to the immoral sanctions of those around me, but to listen with my heart what You are saying, letting You guide my footsteps in the path You have set before me. Amen.
