Prayers To Resist satan (the enemy)

Lord, help me to remember the baptismal vows I made to You. Let me always know this earth is filled with temptations that will take me step by step away from You if I allow Satan to entice me into sin.

Help me to resist Satan's trickery that will separate me from Your grace. Let me not forget that Your Son shed His blood on Calvary to pay for my sin and all the sins committed by humanity.

I love You, Lord, and I believe in the salvation Your Son has gained for me. Keep me focused on You in times of doubt and temptation. I want to thank You for Your endless love, Your mercy and compassion, for sending us Your precious Son, and most of all for wanting EVEN me to live eternally with You in Your glorious Paradise. Accept my unworthy prayers through Christ, our blessed Savior, AMEN!

Heavenly Father, there are so many temptations in the world today. I am constantly faced with a kaleidoscope of earthly options that seem so attractive. Sometimes when I am weak in spirit I think these things will make me happy.

In reality, even as I reach for them I know they are wrong and will separate me from You. Help me, dear Lord, to say no for they are empty pleasures with enticing packaging but inside filled with things You have warned me against. I ask You to keep me strong and confident in my faith and happy with the great blessings You give to me.

Let me stay close to You always for You are the only thing I need. Someday when I come face to face with You I will understand everything. I will know all You promised me is a glorious truth that can be enjoyed eternally in Your Friendship. Amen
